Not quite Neon Pink @kezzlou85 but the closest I‘ve got.

3⭐ this one was better than previous. Aimee finds herself unable to see, so Rene must help her solve the crime.

Finally finishing this book, then on to 'The Salt Road' for #LMPBC. I have 2 other books to work on too!
This one was somewhere between so-so & a pick for me & was much better than the last Aimee LeDuc instalment. An interesting dynamic with Aimee being blinded as a result of an attack, & good to see how she did or didn‘t cope with this. Also good to find out more about her past & her business partner. I would have rated this as a pick but for what seemed a rushed/sudden ending. A bit more detail at this end of the book would have improved it.
Aimee is attacked in the shadowy Passage Boule Blanche. She regains consciousness, Aimée finds that she is blind. She is determined to identify her attacker. Is he a serial killer or was Aimee his intended target? I find Aimee and her interest in designer clothing to be an interesting person and Rene, her computer genius, rather unique. This book had a very slow pace but was a great way to show us how to deal with disabilities like loss of sight.
Aimée LeDuc, Book 4
A better-than-average detective novel set in Paris, this venture finds our heroine blinded owing to a bruising attack in the 11th Arrondissement, where the Bastille is located. Beginning with the 2nd book in the series, we learn a bit more about Aimée‘s father, mother, and business partner (in that order). I enjoyed learning more about what makes the faithful René tick, as he has to “fill in” for Aimée when she loses her ⬇️
Starting early this morning with audio of this book for the #24B4Monday #Readathon.
I‘m a bit behind with this one. Hopefully I‘ll finish tomorrow. I am once again “enjoying” vitamin D deficiency, which means I‘m super tired at all times ☹️
Finished my audiobook, so going to make an early start on the audiobook of Murder in the Bastille, book 4 of the Aimee Leduc series.
