This MF-S book is ideal for younger students and can be told with little puppets or cutouts. This book is about toys sitting and waiting on a window watching the world happen while they wait to be played with. UDL 1.1 would be good here with a fun way to display the story and EL 17.

I think that it teaches kids that if you want something sometimes you have to wait for it to happen. pickThis was such a cute story with cute illustrations. I think this is a great book to read to little kids! I also think its educational because it talks about weather and how certain objects correspond with the weather. Like an umbrella with rain.
The illustrations were beautiful in this story, I loved all the pastel colors and that's really what drew me into the story.
