My score is 11/100 and none of them stands out as a particular favorite. Yes, I‘m counting that I watched The Longest Day when I was eight years old, even though I slept through most of it. Perhaps I‘ll revisit it now that I understand the subject matter more! #TLT

Today I wrote about my favorite World War II history books. I really connect to this period because both my grandfathers were part of the war effort and saw the good and the ugly sides. This was such a pervasive part of life in the '40s and the stories that came out of it were so fascinating, they don't need any fiction! brennahawleycraig @TobeyTheScavengerMonk I haven't done either! I will do both. My most recent ones were about D-Day because we went to Normandy over Christmas and next up we are visiting Pearl Harbor in November. I really like reading about the places in advance of seeing them! 8y
