1) I quite liked the gargoyle romances. They didn‘t seem too far removed from humans overall (along the lines of shifters and werewolves, vamps etc) compared to some. For example I have found centaurs too weird, despite them turning human to “do the deed”!
2) See bottom left. I like this one because gargoyles really have water spouts. If they don‘t they are grotesques ☺️

A bit late getting to this one!
1) I think I could you know. They seem like big softies, and we could fly! Plus based on these two books I have read, there is the option to wear a human form too.
2) I don‘t think I would want to be a gargoyle. But maybe thick skin would be useful? And flying would be cool too. I wouldn‘t want to turn to stone though.

pickI liked this one. Not love, but I can see it going places as the series progresses. I know that this is the first in a series and that the big fight must be running through the entire series (I assume a new guardian per book?) but it did mean that I felt the story ended a little prematurely...
I did love the backstory to the gargoyles/guardians though.

1. Sure. I mean never say never, right? Although it might get a little annoying if they have to turn back into a gargoyle a lot. I mean if it is a Mannequin situation, it might be okay. (If you do not get this reference, please look up this amazing movie and it‘s sequel.)
2. I don‘t know. I am not sure I would like to be turned to stone and have birds and other things landing on me and crawling on me all day, everyday.

pickIf you‘re ever about to be attacked by some nefarious guy in a dark garden, quite handy for the nearby stone gargoyle statue to come to life to save you. 👍
I needed a #romantsy break and this did the trick although I think it would be even better worked through as fantasy with less romance in it. I liked the stone Guardians back story a lot and how the heroine has to learn some nifty magic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
