Finished this over the weekend—it was hilarious. I was compelled to send screenshots of some of the more outrageous parts to a friend just to have someone to share the hilarity with.

Time for a bit of a change of pace and to get another book off my TBR shelf.
I laughed a lot, but as it‘s an early book it just doesn‘t compare to her others. Her other books had me in tears laughing. This one was just ok. #audiobook #memoir #nonfiction
The time @AnnieD @Meredith3 and I met Chelsea Handler!
Blurb about a book or memoir about an embarrassing situation , I immediately thought of Chelsea Handler's first book. Lots of good stories in here. I can't believe this came out 12 years ago ! #THATSAWKWARD
Goodwill haul! And a bookish movie from Walmart clearance bin.
I had to bail. I am disappointed. I loved Are You There Vodka, and I really like Chelsea. A book about one night stands could be funny, but this one isn't. I found it a little depressing, and boring.
I listened to the audiobook and Chelsea didn't narrate it herself. That may have helped.
In the end I decided this was NOT a good end of the year book. I made it halfway through.
I think she's going to be my hero!!! 😂👍🏻
This book is hilarious. Of course, right? It's Chelsae. I highly recommend the audiobook.
I'm posting this because my cousin just joined Litsy, and this is what she's reading right now. We grew up reading together, sharing Narnia and Nancy Drew, along with a strange fascination with The Monkees and scary movies that we were too young to watch.
Welcome to Litsy @tabahrak ! Here's Mom, @Yenya1954 .
There are some good laugh out loud moments here. Chandler holds views of humans that I may not share, but I also have to wonder how much of her storytelling is absolute truth and how much of it is a performance of her comedy.
My pick for #augustofpages funny book. I don't always love Chelsea now, but back in 2005 when this book came out, it was a lifesaver. All my friends were either studying to be important people, or getting married and having babies. I was bartending, drinking my tips and stumbling home at 6am. This book not only made me laugh, it made me feel less alone while I figured out my life.
