Puzzle of the day 😁
I‘m obsessed with the series on audiobook. OBSESSED.
I read all but the last chapter and then listened to the last one because … well my eyes. I always always love Kinsey ❤️❤️❤️
Listened through the next four Kinsey Millhone books. (Work has been such a sedentary beast recently that audiobooks have been my go to to get me off my arse.) I liked all four of these, but I particularly enjoyed the send up to Elmore Leonard in the tagged book. I‘m almost surprised that Raylan Givens didn‘t swoop in at the end 😂
I am already enjoying this one (the green light is from my “migraine“ bulbs). The book has both L and M which is great because then I will jump onto M right away! The only bad thing is it's too cumbersome to tote around.
You could have guessed I was bringing back another Sue Grafton for myself! #booktenof2020
In “L”, Kinsey looks into a deceased person‘s background as a favor for a neighbor. Of course nothing is what it seems. She then goes on a cross-country madcap adventure. This one felt more like a cozy mystery than the earlier ones in the series. I only recall the pregnant woman in this one — perhaps because I received this for Xmas 1995 when I had a newborn.
Also L is the last of the colorful covers. Starting with M, they all went minimalist.
Another great installment of the alphabet series. Kinsey agrees to help a friend of a friend‘s family acquiring military death benefits. In true Grafton form, the story spirals and Kinsey travels to Texas and ends up in Kentucky. I loved how Grafton incorporated her hometown of Louisville. #MountTBR
Another fun new approach for a Kinsey mystery. This one was slow to start for me but the end raced along. I particularly enjoyed how Kinsey worked to figure out the clues, it was like a scavenger hunt.

I saw someone made a post that this book gave them “secondhand anxiety”, and I have to agree! Kinsey was extremely uncomfortable for much of this book, and it left me feeling on-edge and agitated as well. Most of the new characters were very unlikeable, but interesting. (I did like the elderly woman that was added to the cast during the last few chapters. She was a hoot.) 🌟🌟🌟1/2 out of 5.
📚My parents. My mom, especially, is an avid reader. Both my mom and dad read to me when I was young, and encouraged my love of books.
📚Any chance I get! Usually that chance is in bed before I go to sleep.
📚So many, but the March sisters have been a lifelong favorite.

Oh, how I love Sundays. Realized I have a First Edition of this book, which made my book nerd heart all happy...it‘s the second first edition I have in this series. I got them for 50 cents at a library book sale 5 or so years ago and never even checked. I literally remember nothing about this one, so it‘s a surprise going in. #atoyreread #lazysunday
I had some time between medical appointments, so I went to BAM and then got lunch of #pasta and eggplant parmigiana. This is probably my least favorite of the series, but it does put me one book closer to the complete set.

The best book in the series so far. So many twists and turns. And look! I hit 3,000 #Litfluence! Huge thanks to you all for this amazing community
This story line is giving me secondhand anxiety. I don't know that I'll be able to sleep until I have some sort of resolution.
