pickI can‘t believe I put this off for so long. Despite not being a Claire and Jaimie story, I still loved this book. I‘ll be the first to admit to not being the biggest fan of John grey, which is why I haven‘t read any of the other Lord John novels. I may actually look into those now.
I‘ve never read this? It‘s only been on my shelf for ages so this is getting read before the end of the year.
pickPart of the Lord John series, this makes for a great companion novel for fans of Diana Gabaldon and her Outlander series. Set in 1760, the events that unfold in this story fall chronologically around the midpoint of her 3rd novel, Voyager, filling in some of the cracks of the years Jamie and Claire lived apart. Not as rich in history as some of her books, this story is full of political conspiracy, espionage, murder and swashbuckling adventure.

pickPart of the lord John Grey series (#3) but I read throughout the regular outlander series. It doesn't include Claire so you can read it whenever. Makes you love Jamie even more!
