Day 3 of @Andrew65 's #Top20series #20series20days challenge

This is another wonderful series by Lindsey Kelk and it is made even better by having some of the characters from the I Heart series pop up in book 3! Also these characters are in I Heart Hawaii (the last one in that series) so you get the best of both series in one book. 📚📖

Andrew65 Love when people from other books / series pop up. 4y

Not as well written as other Lindsey Kelk books in my opinion, but the idea was clever. I found the characters easily relatable and although a bit far fetched, the story developed well. A light summer read.

#ReadingResolutions #power #beachread #strategy Crazy week-I'm behind in all things-like photo challenges. In my blog review I called this book a perfect poolside or BEACH READ. I paired it with homemade Dole Pineapple Whip 🍍& used it in a fruity cocktail. Wish I had one now.🍹Tess's life is imploding so her STRATEGY is to impersonate her roommate on a photo assignment on Oahu. Will her escape to sun, sand & sea give her the POWER to fix things?

#AndItsAugust day 2 #Girlfriends... Sometimes I do enjoy a nice, little, fluffy romance, so this was an easygoing read. I liked how it didn't just concentrate on the romantic relationship of the main character but also with her best friend. We all need to support our girlfriends! 😁

Day6 #readjanuary #dreamingofawarmerclimate #dreamingofacolderclimate I went with one of each--one book is set in Oahu & the other in a snowy Vermont. Last night it was just under 60 degrees F. here which people call 'chilly' & I will admit to sleeping with thick socks & a blanket. Today's a breezy pleasant 73 degrees F. so I am content--as I usually am here except in summer when the trade winds die & the humidity gets to be a bit much. 🌞❄️👍😀🌴

Suzze Do you have heat in your house? Or when it goes down to 60 is it that temp inside too? 7y
DebinHawaii @Suzze No heaters here. I have jalousie windows (the kind with the louvered slats) throughout the house so the indoor temp is pretty close to what it is outside-unless I have it shut tight & the aircon on in the summer months. 7y
Suzze @DebinHawaii brrr it may be 10 here but it's 70 in the house (and I'm still cold). 7y

DebinHawaii @Suzze The sun does help though so during the day if it's sunny it feels really good at the low 70s. Although I have socks & a long-sleeve shirt on. 7y
AshleyS My sister lived in Hawaii for ten years, I remember calling her when it was below zero here and it was 67 there and she had the heat on in her car! 7y
RealLifeReading Sounds lovely! 7y
DebinHawaii @AshleyS I do that too when it's in the low 60s--usually at night or first thing in the morning. The blood thins you know! 😀🌞 7y
MelanieMefford I loved Winter People!! 7y
Zelma @DebinHawaii I agree about the blood thinning, and it doesn't take long at all! Only three years since we moved from Alaska to Louisiana and I am happy for our heat today (it's in the 30s right now, which was balmy depending on the season for AK). 7y
DebinHawaii @MelanieMefford I need to buckle down & read it. It keeps getting bumped for other books! @Zelma Yes, when I visit family in Oregon other than in summer, I freeze & want the heat on! 7y

This was a fun, light book. It was a fairly standard romance story but it made me laugh. I liked the photography angle and the setting of Hawaii. I will definitely read the next book in the series as I enjoyed the characters and the humour.

I am reading About a Girl for my Travel the World in Books month of June book. For June we were allowed to pick a book set on an island so Hawaii here I come. Also this a light and fluffy story which I have been craving. So far it's been hilarious and I am loving it. @Imlostinbooks

Dammit I shouldn't have started this while reading another book. Now I want to read this one.
