I enjoyed this one much more than the first! The Incorrigibles head to London, where mystery upon mystery is announced. I felt the narration flowed much better, and I liked seeing the growth in the characters...Lady Ashton is horrid! Book Two for #CoverChangeMidSeries #BBRC #MiddleGrade .

This was just as much over-the-top fun as the first book. The Incorrigibles and their beloved Lumawoo (aka Miss Lumley) do London—from Buckingham Palace to a Drury Lane theatre premiere—and hijinks ensue. A few more clues to the lingering mystery emerge—and I need to keep reading to find out the answers! Who are the Incorrigibles, really? What is Judge Quinzy up to? And what does Miss Mortimer know?! Looking forward to the next installment...

Last at-work #audiowalk for #bookfitnesschallenge round 1! And I‘m SO CLOSE to the end of this audiobook. I‘m going to have to stretch my 30-minute commute to 38 minutes... or otherwise sneak in some extra listening minutes so I can finish this one today!

I think this book would be great for students interested in wolves and fantasies about wolves. The children were raised by wolves, which I could see being a huge selling point for kids that were interested in reading this book. Also the contrast of the wolf like children vs. their caretaker who is royalty, adds an interesting twist to the overall story.

This story is about children who were seen as naughty. They were believed to be raised as wolves. But when Miss Penelope takes the children in, they behave more appropriately and get used to wearing human clothes. They even stopped howling at the moon! Although the children are behaving better, the children manage to ruin the Christmas ball almost destroying their house all together!

I finished this a few nights ago, waiting up for my newest NEPHEW to be born! Neither the baby or my relisten of this disappointed.

This was the first in the series I originally listened to and I liked it much more than the first (which I have come around to loving). Some great new characters are introduced and the mystery gets more and more twisty. And, as always, Katherine Kellgren is not to be missed.

#24in48 readathon this weekend! My husband is watching my little guy, and I'm taking myself out to lunch. It's going to be a wonderful Saturday! Here are the books I'm planning to read (as of right now, at least).

Penelope arrived at Ashton Place to assume the role of governess only to discover her charges were found in the woods and have literally been raised by wolves. We follow their adventures as Penelope tries to teach the children manners, mathematics, Greek history, and protect them from a mysterious someone who seems determined to hunt them. The plot thickens and the questions multiply in the second installment of this series.
