I‘m having trouble coming up with a feminist classic to read for #Booked2018.

I was going to read Little Women, but I‘m having trouble getting into it.

CarolynM @EvieBee Great recommendation! I lost count of how many times I read the book and saw the film when I was a teenager - and those were the days when you had to go to the cinema unless it happened to be on the TV schedule! 8y

CarolynM @EvieBee Yes I have. I'm not sure that I would recommend it though. Not because there's anything wrong with it as such, it's just that it was a huge effort to keep my illusions intact after it. It's not so much a sequel as an alternate narrative. 8y
