pickI have yet to read something by Darcy Coates that I didn‘t like. With that being said, while I enjoyed this one it wasn‘t my favorite. Two kids go stay with their estranged grandparents after their mother is in an accident. Of course things aren‘t as they seem. I would say this one is more of mystery with a pinch of a ghost story.
Oof it has been a rough week here. So excited to curl up with a book in bed and not have to set alarm for the morning! Who else is cozy at home with a book?

pickAnother fun ghost tale. I felt like it could have been a bit longer but it was still a concise and well put together story. I like a drawn out haunting tale.
It's a good day to start a new book... Not that there's ever a bad day to start a new book mind you

pickThis was a quick little ghost story, well fleshed out (pun intended) and a little twist I didn't expect! That's always pleasant. On a scale of 1 to 5, this was like a 3.5, which makes it a little more than so-so. Siblings go to stay with their grandparents after an accident leaves their mother in the hospital but all is not what it seems and the ghosts are stirring. Not wholly unenjoyable!!!
I fudged myself today. 🤣 But seriously, I almost had my white chocolate break while I was reading and not mixing!!! LOL, I have 8% left to go and I NEED to finish! Recipe is for Grinch Fudge.

Glad The Folcroft Ghosts is a short read because I'm knee deep in stuffing & Pokemon!!! Gift #1 is complete, just 2 more to go and the week after Christmas, the kids are on their own while I catch up on all the books I'm in the middle of!!! 🤣 #hookersofLitsy #crochetallday
pickThis was a pretty good ghost story. It was creepy and atmospheric. The story wasn't particularly original but I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint would be that the ending was a little anticlimactic. I read it in one day which is pretty rare for me these days. It is a perfect read for October!
