When Amelie Nothomb states that one of her books was inspired by a certain work of art I of course have to check it out. And that's why I came across this story. I also got lucky to find this gem of a book with the stunning artwork of Alexander Pavlenko.
The story itself is truly Oscar Wild-ish. What came first, destiny or decision? What would've happened if there wouldn't have been a foretelling? Did Lord Arthur do the right thing?
