HAPPY ENDING?
There are no happy endings.
Endings are the saddest part,
So just give me a happy middle
And a very happy start.
UNDERFACE
Underneath my outside face
Theres a face that none can see
A little less smiley,
A little less sure,
But a whole lot more like me.
She had blue skin
And so did he.
He kept it hid
And so did she.
They searched for blue
Their whole lives through,
They passed right by-
And never knew.

It‘s been used already, but it‘s perfect for #masks. #quotsynov17 @TK-421
Every Thing On It is an entertaining poem is about a boy who ordered a hotdog with "every thing on it," which he realized might be a mistake once he saw all the things that came along with it. This poem is a great way to introduce poetry into the classroom, by showing students how simple and fun they can be. #UCFWaltersLit

My husband' childhood copy of WHERE THE SIDEWALK ENDS next to my son's copy of EVERYTHING ON IT (which his beloved reading teacher gave him). #blackandwhitecovers #maybookflowers
Masks
She had blue skin,
And so did he.
He kept it hid
And so did she.
They searched for blue
Their whole life through,
Then passed right by -
And never knew.
