I love me some Emily Giffin but her book #HeartOfTheMatter really isn't my favorite. I spend too much of it completely furious with Nick, the sanctimonious male lead, while also grudgingly agreeing with his views on things like public schools and his feelings on Tessa's "friends". Anyone else have mixed thoughts on this one? #LiteraryLove #emilygiffin

Finished this audiobook and WOW! What a powerful story. This book deals with extramarrital affairs in a realistic and moving way. It is told in the first person point of view from the wife and from the third person POV of the other woman. It is a well written story of love, infidelity, choices, friendship, and forgiveness. A must read for those who are struggling in their marriage, or those that wonder what they would do in the same situation.

I don‘t know why I read Emily Giffin. Most of her books are about infidelity, which I don‘t care for at all.

However, I really enjoyed this book and it left me with a lot of thoughts about what I would do and had me rooting for both Tessa and Valerie...

1. I‘m about 80 pages in and so far so good!
2. Still camping - heading home at some point today. Should just be a relaxing day until we have to pack up.
3. I love freshly cut watermelon, where it‘s so juicy and drips down your hand! Great on a hot summer day.

I‘m going camping for the long weekend, so I‘m trying to pack light, easy reads, that I‘ll be able to easily pick up and down this weekend.

We will also be going to Block Island, so I don‘t want to be carrying around a chunkster!
