“I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains” Dorothea MacKellar 1906.
Wow. Never was a truer word spoken by a poet. Last summer was raging bushfires & smoke, this summer has been rain eternal and now raging floods! The top is Lake Conjola NYE19, bottom is the Nepean Railway bridge today. That bridge is normally at least a 20ft drop to the water I think? My land is nuts!
