It‘s such a horrible thought that at times I might not even venture into the storyline. But this is Lisa and although the road to get there is rocky, she usually gives me a satisfying ending.

pickI thought this was another really solid book by this author. It kept my interest from the very start through to the end. It‘s a story about a mother who finds out her adoptive son may be a boy who was kidnapped years ago. Lots of twists and a great mystery. I really liked this one!
My first book by this author. Hoping I like it, because I have a few more of her books on my shelf!

pickAwesome book. Near the end, I couldn't put it down. Tears and lots of heartwrenching. As a mother, I often questioned what was right. Very well written.
so-soThis was my first by Scottoline and I suspect it will be my last. It was ok, but with all the gripping mysteries and thrillers out there, this one didn't stack up favorably. The concept (on the back of the book, not a spoiler) of suspecting that your legally adopted child might actually have been kidnapped from his original family was a fascinating one. But the writing was just so so.
pickA pretty decent mystery thriller - kept me entertained and I got a kick out of the paternity company who does the tests for Springer. My company does Maury. 😂
