Airplane read #2 This was gifted to me by my favorite reader/ bailer @shawnmooney (who perhaps even left me some notes in his copy?!?) #onewordonebook DEPRESSING!!! Yikes, this book was so full of misery and tragedy with no redemption or lighter moments of joy! NOTHING!!! I liked the writing initially but even that turned sour...I didn‘t bail but came very close. Thanks though, Shawn. The premise had promise....
#HappyDance 💃💃💃I feel like @Lizpixie I received TWO lovely #bookmail gifts from the #LittenGods First up my favorite #BookManiac @shawnmooney sent me 3 novels!!!! Two I've been wanting & a surprise third which sounds like something I'm going to LOVE💗💗💗Thank you sooo much for your generosity, Shawn 😘😘😘#LittensAreTheBest
3.5/5⭐️. Good quick read. Entertaining and one that can be read in one sitting. I enjoyed his short story collection also.
This book should be read at breakneck speed in a single sitting. If you need moments of lightness in even short, serious novels, skip this one. It hurts like grief. But if you want to a real story of loss, this is as real as any can feel.
Spending a relaxing and productive Sunday afternoon tucked away in the underbelly of the Trafalgar Square Waterstones. 😊😊😊
Library Haul for my spring term at University ☺☺ Well except the book of short stories that's just for fun! Hehehe 😍😍
#CurrentlyReading this slim novel about an immigrant family coming to terms with an unspeakable tragedy. #photoadaynov26 The last of my latest library haul. 🙌🏼
Enjoying this book but. Pet peeve. You are in a book... Why do narrators do that? Why does it bother me so much?
