To finish off the month of October. I‘m going to start off this series, I‘m hoping that it‘s as good as it looks.

Book 18🎧
A prequel to the entire Asylum series. Ricky is wrongfully admitted to the Asylum and soon realizes just how the Warden is trying “cure” his patients.
I preferred the main series more than the prequels but not a bad listen, just wanted a bit more🤷🏼♀️
Starting this series today, after years of wanting to read it!!!!!
The setting of my book is an insane asylum. This affects the plot because it tells us were the character will be.
I recommend this book to whoever like scary stories and I would not recommend this book to whoever doesn't like scary stories because they would not understand the first couple chapters
#deweys24readathon started at 5am for me so I was up at 4 getting ready. This is the face my dog Lady gave me when I turned on the light and started making noise. She's not a morning dog in her old age. 😂😂 #readathon #readathonpets
Getting really excited for @DeweysReadathon got my reading space set up, and I'm ready to go! Are you participating? #readathon #deweysreadathon
This book is just so so creepy. I really liked it. I cant wait to read the rest of the series because i would love to know more about Nurse Ash and the Warden. I would also like to know more about what happened to the boys father at Brookline. The book didnt give too much information, but it was just enough to get you interested in whats going on.
I have never felt totally effected by the events that were happening to Ricky.. I felt his pain and sorrow and I just wanted to be able to help him. I also loved how all of the final pieces came together from the rest of her books. It was the perfect ending to my favourite series. (Though if Madeleine wants to write more, I wouldn't object) 5/5 ⭐️
Nothing like spending a Sunday watching Teen Wolf and reading Escape from Asylum.
These two books are currently on my nightstand! #day17 #onthenightstand #aprilbookshowers
This was probably my favorite in the series. I really liked the background and how it tied in with the other books and the novellas. It was a page turner and very suspenseful. I highly recommend the whole series.
Trying to get in some reading (audiobook style) while working. I need to cram in as much reading as possible if I want to place at all for the #BookishOlympics! This is really good so far! I'm enjoying this prequel more than the last book in the main Asylum trilogy.
Listening to the audiobook of this while baking dulce de leche sandwich cookies. I really like the narrator, but I wish he spoke a little faster. Unfortunately when I tried to increase the speed, it sounded a little garbled. I'm really enjoying this prequel to the series so far! I've been switching between this and Sherlock Holmes and the Servants of Hell for the #bookisholympics challenge. 😀
I love this series so much. Madeleine Roux is definitely an auto buy author for me. So creepy. So awesome.
Reading this amazing prequel. Wonderfully written, and I 💖 the pictures in it. The fact that the author is able to incorporate pictures into her writing... 😍 anyway, this is a beautifully haunting read.
Picking up the next installment of the Asylum series. I have been addicted to this series from the very first book and it has never taken me longer than a couple of hours to read one of them. Let's see if I can keep up that record
