If this book had been around when we were kids my brothers and I would have been obsessed. Beautiful art, fascinating world design, and great emotional storytelling.

These are my favorite 2 frames in this graphic novel about a Fae underground kingdom and a changeling child finding out about the many types of family.
Imagine watching the underground train pass by…and then a DRAGON 🐉
And some commuters in the scene don‘t even notice😹😹
I love stories set in the land of the fae, and this was no exception! The illustrations are fantastic, and I‘m glad I have the 2nd one from the library so I can read it next!

Couldn‘t put it down. Definitely recommend this fantasy graphic novel - a great tale of what family means in a world of underground fae with the human above ground not too far away.
Loving this Graphic novel. The art and story are fantastic so far! Think it will be finished in one sitting!
This is a great graphic novel for middle grade readers. Similar to Amulet, though in my opinion not quite as good, it‘s a fun, quick read with beautiful artwork. There are so many great ideas in each frame,it‘s clear this is something that Aldridge took many years & creative hours to bring to life. One of its main themes is building your “found family” and all the different ways that can look.Would recommend for a favorite 5th grader in your life.
Cute! I really liked this artwork, too. Would fey be considered monsters? If so.. 11 points for this read. Otherwise, only 6.
I finished this on Friday and this is total from then for #24B4Monday .. I've been feeling crappy, think I'm getting sick 😔

Read this one today and really enjoyed it! I loved the emphasis on family
This is the modern tale of a changeling. It‘s a captivating story, and a pretty easy/fast read. The speed didn‘t take anything away from the hold this had over me though, making this a perfect book for ages 9 or 10 and up. My one complaint is that two of the characters are drawn identically, which made it confusing keeping track of who was speaking in a few frames. That may make it frustrating for some young readers, but I‘d still recommend it.
Fantasy graphic novel for children. Want to read but suffering from migraine so can't concentrate very well. Trying this. #graphicnovel
