Thank you so much @DoonTheGoon! I love everything, and so do my cats. Bottom right is Phoenix after he literally dove into the pile trying to get the button. 🤦🏽♀️😂 I haven‘t read either of these collections before, and I‘m really looking forward to it! Get in Trouble is on my TBR and I‘ve been considering picking up something by Perrotta for a while now but haven‘t gotten around to it, so now I finally will. 😄

Every time I see the book yard sale at this particular house up at the lake, #igottafeeling that I'm gonna be bringing some books home 😊 Whoever lives there has a sale each summer and always has an amazing selection of books (usually) in great condition!!

My first short story collection! I know, I know, missing-out.
Unsure how to review a collection, as some were more enjoyable than others. However, if you like Perotta's writing you are sure to like this too.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
It might be the drinks, but my love affair with Perrotta is increasing by the page 💗
4⭐️ I thoroughly enjoyed this short story collection that explores the relationships between teens and adults. Classic, excellent Perrotta. #cheerwineandabook #booksleeve
Tonight's #CheerwineandaBook is brought to you by Tom Perrotta's short stories because y'all know I can't get enough Tom P!
This is a new can type I picked up at Harris Teeter. It says, "Deliciously Different!" And that perfectly describes Cheerwine!
I'm bad with short stories. At the end of each story in this collection, I felt like I was left hanging. Like I wanted each one to be a complete novel that I could delve into. It's amazing that in just a few pages, he was able to develop the characters as well as the storyline so completely! So good
In the middle of a really busy work week.. I figured all I could manage was a bunch of short stories. Bring it on Perrotta. Show me what you've got!
