FBI Special Agent Will Trents instinct is put to the test. An exclusive straight to digital short story from the No.1 bestseller. On assignment at Atlanta's busy airport Special Agent Will Trent is forced to make a split-second decision. But is it the right one? Multi-million copy, international bestselling thriller writer Karin Slaughter is known for her razor-sharp plotting and her ability to put the reader right at the heart of the crime. Snatched is Karin at her best in a compelling story that will grip you like a vice. It also gives readers a chance to read the opening chapters of Criminal. And a taster of Fallen.

I went looking for the next Will Trent to check out from the library and discovered I‘d missed this novella. It‘s a quick read and feels like a deleted scene from a movie. It‘s not as dark as the novels, and the resolution is too good to be true, but I‘m grateful for that. As Amanda tells Will - “take the win”.

TW for child abduction and pedophila.

#StoryGraph: fiction mystery thriller mysterious crime short-story
73 pages • first pub 2012

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I kind of lost track of where I was on Karin Slaughter‘s Will Trent series. But, when the TV series started up, it reminded me to go back and read where I left off. I am really glad I did. I forgot how much I enjoy the characters in this series — especially Betty. 🐕 Now on to number 6 (hopefully, sooner rather than later).

wisherwishinguponastar I have been scrolling for too long. I thought that cover said “The Not Bestselling Author.” 😅 12mo

#SeriesRead2021 @TheSpineView #BookSpinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

This novella in the Will Trent series was a quick read, but it lacked the intensity and feel of the other books in the series. Will suspects something is wrong when he spots a young girl with a man while in a public restroom. What follows is a fast-paced investigation where Will has to confront some of his own issues from his past.

Good read, but it doesn't add anything to the story.

I‘m not usually one for novellas or short stories but I really enjoyed this short story in the Will Trent Series. May have only been short (just under 100 pages) but did a great job of communicating tension, and showed all Will‘s smarts in fooling a suspect. Only thing missing from the story was Sara!

Time for a bit more progression in the Will Trent Series. Reading the Novella Snatched, which is book 5.5 in the series.

This is a brilliant example of what a short story can be. It's short but had be hooked and kept me there until the end. Very impressed.

I was browsing Libby (like I don't have enough on hand to read 😂) and stumbled on this Will Trent novella! Short stories aren't usually my thing but Slaughter's signature awesomeness was enough to have me inhale this one, like a brief hello to one of my favorite characters. It's unsettling and my heart was in my throat, but a quick, nicely done page-turner!

I am a huge fan of Karin Slaughter's books and this short ebook did not disappoint, except that it ended too soon! Starring Will Trent one of Karin's regulars it manages to grip the reader draw you in and is unputdownable. Will is on duty in airport toilets when he hears a little girl ask to please go home. There starts his quest to find this little girl who has indeed been kidnapped and reunite her with her mum. A fast paced enjoyable thriller

1. I would want to eat with Karin Slaughter because duh, I love her, and because she‘s from Georgia, so she would@probably enjoy my cooking 👍
2. 1950‘s when things seemed simpler
3. Julia Roberts because she‘s from Georgia and can “”do” my accent
