Reflected in You: A Crossfire Novel
Reflected in You: A Crossfire Novel | Sylvia Day
THE SENSUAL SAGA OF EVA AND GIDEON CONTINUES in the hotly anticipated follow-up to BARED TO YOU...the New York Times bestselling novel of "EROTIC ROMANCE THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISSED."--Romance Novel News Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction... my every desire... *mine. * My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We'd never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession... Review I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT TO GIDEON AND EVA. The Book Reading Gals Eva and Gideonmake Bared to You richer and more real to me than many of the contemporary books I've read in a while.*Romance Junkies* I became so attached to Eva and Gideon that I actually hurt for them. I shared their pain and their joy as they fought to keep each other.*Joyfully Reviewed* When it comes to brewing up scorchingly hot sexual chemistry, Day has few literary rivals.*Booklist* [Bared to You] is full of emotional angst, scorching love scenes, and a compelling storyline.Dear Author About the Author Sylvia Day is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling and award-winning author of more than a dozen novels written across multiple subgenres. She has won the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award and the National Readers Choice Award twice, and she has been nominated for the RITA twice. Book #7: well... I thought I didn‘t like the first one... but I feel like I definitely won‘t be reading the third. This one felt particularly problematic with the back/forth codependency and complicated trauma bonding. I don‘t think it‘s terrible to represent how many sexual assault / abuse survivors find solace in kink and BDSM / power exchange... but I‘ve seen it done better and found this to be lacking in style, artistry and accuracy.

My heart was all over the place in this book. It kept me wanting more, to find out everything that was happening. It was also nice to see that the main female was growing stronger.

Once you have Gideon Cross on the brain it's impossible not to pick up the next in the series. Though I'll probably need a break (or a cold shower) before I keep going with a re-read of the third one 😆 #romantsy

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I liked this series SO much better than Fifty Shades!! 6y

1. Professional Development book #teacherlife
2. Reread of a series to finish the newest published book #Crossfire
3. YA book series that‘s on my classroom bookshelf that‘s been on my TBR #middlegradeteacher
4. Reread of HP because why not? #dumbledoresarmy

❤️ this!! It was much darker than the first one, exploring multiple layers of the characters. Each character is really vivid with a haunting and dark past. I also feel that the 🔥 scenes were much better and more geared towards WOMEN than something like the fifty shades saga. I LOVE that the main girl has an actual history with other men, so she is on equal footing with the main guy and his history w/women (something fifty shades lacked) WIN!! 📚

JoScho Great picture 💖 6y
HOTPock3tt Thanks girl!! 😘❤️📚 @JoScho 6y

Not sure I can even finish this book. I'm on chapter 9 and REALLY burned out on the sex scenes that turn up in absolutely EVERY scene between these two idiots. Ok love sex scenes as much as the next person but this is extremely overkill

ok, ok, so I know I was not a fan of the first book.... I am still bothered by the fact that they seem sooooooo well adjusted and self aware for two people with abuse issues. But, I am going to finish the series and I make it a point to NEVER read for pleasure books that I dont like and Im bummed the library is closed today.

SexyCajun I'm not even sure if I can even finish this second book. I'm all for awesome sex scenes but honestly this is over kill and she's stupid and I hate Gideon way more than I THOUGHT I hated Grey. Grey is actually a really nice guy now Compared to Gideon 8y

😍 Gideon. I love the name Gideon (it's one of the names I have picked out for a boy if I ever have children) and I love the character! #osrbc #romantsy

The beginning was a bit boring honestly, but The last few chapters things really pick up and then a real mystery begins! I really do like these books (even though the sex scenes are weird as heck) I think the story of these books is quite fun!
