Loved this book!
“You'll make mistakes and struggle like everyone, but when you are with the right person, you'll almost perfect joy, like you are the luckiest person who ever lived. And that means you'll love and be loved...and in the end, nothing else really matters.”

This is such a cool idea for a swap!! And I love how you included multiple tier options for involvement. Thanks @candority !! Check out her original post for sign ups. #bestof2020swap
One of the most heart touching books. The story, the character development is really good. The unforgettable but unfortunate love between them tugsthe strings of one's heart
“Love, after all, always said more about those who felt it than it did about the ones they loved.”

So tell me you love me, if you don't then lie, oh lie to me
And call it true, call it true love
Call it true, call it true love🎶

I cried so much reading this book, it was emotional. But I love this author and he‘s good at what he does.
Thank you, Nicholas Sparks, for reminding me why I haven‘t touched your books in a really long time.
Typical NS romance... easy read and helped me get back into reading after constantly letting myself get dragged into Netflix rather then picking up a book
This was cute, typical Nicholas Sparks, and yes, highly predictable.
But I absolutely loved listening to the audiobook.
Amanda and Dawson were high school sweethearts. With very different lives who veered off onto very different tracks. Now, years later, fully grown, they find themselves back in their hometown together.
Does one really ever get over their first love?
I really appreciated Sparks‘ attention to character detail on this one!
I thought this book was fantastic. I have never read this story nor have I watched the movie. I thought the storyline was deep and engaging. I liked that the characters were relatable and their decisions questioned my beliefs at times. I was sucked into the story from chapter one. I throughly enjoyed The Best of Me.
The story is about love, friendship, anger, grief, and an overwhelming desire for pure happiness that is packed full of emotion.
This was good - pretty standard Nicholas Sparks. Sad and romantic with a twist. The story was very interesting even though it was pretty predictable. Overall, it was a quick read and I liked it.
I read this for #booked2018 #beachread. (Yes I am very far behind, yay work) I tend to read Nicholas Sparks a lot in the summer since they are easy, if not somewhat predictable reads. Once again I enjoyed his book. I did figure one thing out at the end, but it wasn't as predictable as I expected.

Vinnies haul on Thursday. I shopped so hard. Best and Less had bras and undies for under $3 and I got lots of Xmas preparation done at the Reject Shop. I got to watch my parent‘s race horse come fourth. Morning tea was at my favourite Icky Sticky and dinner was at my favourite pub the Old Victoria Inn.
I was going to go outside to the porch to read, but #jack had other plans. Started the tagged book for #booked2018 #beachread. #blackcatsoflitsy
The funniest part about this is I didn't originally have the blanket on my lap. He won't snuggle unless I put the blanket down.
Love, after all, always said more about those who felt it than it did about the ones they loved.
If you have read this then you know about the #barscene 😭😢😭😢

❤️ Dawson
This was a lovely story, hard to put down. There might be a movie based on it as well.
No. No. No. I loved the idea of this. Young lovers reconnect, sweet old dude, cuteness. But, no. This was so annoying. Dawson was so sweet and I couldn't stand Amanda. Then the end? No.
Got to finish yet another #NicholasSparks book! ♡ Yes, I have a habit of not watching the movie without reading the book, thanks for asking.
Not Sparks' best book. I liked the story of their past, but hated the conflict between Amanda's current marriage and her obvious feeling for Dawson. The ending was 100% unbelievable. 1,000,000 things would have to line up for this outcome to happen and in a "real world" book it is unbelievable.
