Not book related but I have to shout out to my oldest. Even with all the ups and downs with life right now this dude is being promoted to an official high schooler. I took him to go pick up sushi and we enjoyed it in our backyard. I start back to work tomorrow after being off since March 16th. Major mixed emotions tonight.

BookaholicNatty Ok that is absolutely amazing!!!!! I have raised my boys alone too and it is no easy job!!! And a youth pastor!!! That just makes my heart smile. Church is a very important part of our life and my faith is the only thing that has gotten me thru the hard times!!! 7y

When I was struggling with my journey I made a pact to myself that whenever I break down or have a crying spell to turn it into a conversation with the One that can truly help. I called those “ugly prayers”. 😘 7y
