I feel like I barely post on Litsy anymore! Too much work and not enough treading! 😂

This is a reread for me, but first time on audio. A fun cozy mystery set in London, featuring hats (of course) and an American cousin running away from a scandal, only to become entangled in another one across the pond. The pacing of the audio was very slow(slower than usual for a CD) but I‘m definitely continuing the series on audio for my commute.

MemoirsForMe Wishing you an easier work week and more relaxing and reading time! 🤗❤️ 4y

Between a pick and a so-so. An easy read and I enjoyed the beginning of the book and characters. The mystery/suspect didn‘t come in until the second half of the novel and I found it predictable. I might pick up the next one in the series, we‘ll see.

A strong week- finished "Runaways, vol. 4"-⭐⭐⭐⭐

I also started "Cloche and Dagger"- at 34% and "Winterwood"- on page 40.

Too many inaccuracies in the British/London details spoilt this for me. I‘ve hovered between ratings for it - but really I was so distracted by the errors that I was taken out of everything else.

britt_brooke @Laura317 👍🏻 Nice haul. We drove right past that one when we went to Gatlinburg a few months ago. Wish we‘d had time to stop in. 6y
Michollio I just got a hardcover copy of Ghosts of India the other day 😃 6y
Laura317 @Michollio I hope it‘s good! I loved Donna and Tennant. 6y

This was such a fun cute cozy mystery! I loved the sassy character Scarlett and liked the potential love interest (possibly in future books) with Harrison/Harry. I hope to read more in this series soon!

A great start to a new series! Love me a cozy mystery. I will try and continue this series!

So I changed the books I was reading for the #4in48Readathon

I‘ll keep reading the others, but they aren‘t the type I can read in 1 sitting.

Unfortunately, finding Eureka on Prime and trying to read 4 books in a weekend is splitting my attention.

But, I‘ve finished my 2nd book! I‘ll start a 3rd one, but I probably won‘t finish it tonight.

BeansPage Doing good, do what you can 🤗 7y

This was such a cute mystery! Though the murder was gruesome, the entire book was lighthearted and the characters are amazing. Here‘s to hoping Harrison and Scarlett get together at some point though!

This was a super quick cozy mystery. A cute read. I needed a book with a weapon in the title for a challenge and I am glad I found this. I may have to check out the rest of the series. #growingtbrpile

drokka I thought the second one was better. 7y
Christinak @drokka I am glad to hear that! I'll have to check it out. 7y

2017 #12 Mystery Audio Similar to the Teagarden or Do-it-yourself mysteries. Nosy person come into some money or an inheritance ends up the target of or witness to a crime and they take it upon themselves to solve it. Fun and fluffy.
