This would be the last book I read which took place in a #bookshop, even better some of it was also set in a tea room. A really enjoyable book which is an ideal read incorporating the Christmas theme.

Good. Full of festive cheer and romance. Nice ending to a wonderful series. Liked how the last page not just wrapped up this story but the stories of the characters that were the main characters in the other books in nice neat paragraphs.

This was a very enjoyable read centred around a book shop and a cafe approaching Christmas time . Enjoyed spending time with these two characters who at times had an interesting relationship before coming together. Mind you her ex-partner was a right piece of work. 😡

Birdsong28 Nearly finished this. It's so good. Found out that it was originally called Under the Mistletoe at the Lonely Hearts Bookshop which in my opinion would have been better as the title doesn't match with the rest of the series 2y

The first chapter reminds me of all the ...‘joys‘ ... of pregnancy; swollen ankles, heartburn, ... 🤗
Our heroine, Mattie from the tea shop, is not a book lover 🤔

Cosyreader @Crazeedi I used ready-made sausagemeat, stuffing and pastry so not much of a recipe! Roll out the pastry, mash the sausagemeat and stuffing together and make one long sausage. Place this on the pastry, wrap some slices of bacon around it (up to you how much), squeeze tomato purée down side and fold the pastry over. Brush with egg, sprinkle some cheese and bake for about 20 mins at 180 deg until golden. Sorry I don‘t do precision! 5y

Am I the only one who thinks that if you start a series with one cover/ theme it should be carried through? The circled book is the 4th in a wonderful series about a romance themed bookshop and it's staff I am looking forward to reading the 4th book but the cover is slightly annoying me cos it's different. 😂😂

LibrarianRyan @Birdsong28 Yeah it can be a pet peeve of mine as well. This is a cover change but not a crazy one. A crazy adult cover change happened for the Queen Betsy books from Mary Janice Davidson. Crazy change. But the story also changed as well, and went from light hearted fun, to this sucks. #coverchanges. 6y
