Starting Aprils #roll100 off with # 40 - Devoted by Dean Koontz. This month is bringing me some big books including # 33‘s Memoirs of a Geisha and # 48‘s The Three Musketeers…don‘t think I‘m gonna make it to those, but we‘ll see 🤷♀️
I would‘ve liked a story more about the dogs than the people. I didn‘t like how the men thought about the mother.
I was really more curious about the background of the dogs. The rest of the story is kind of uneventful. I don‘t like how all the men think of the boys mother
My review of this book can be found on my Youtube Vlog at:

Enjoy!
I used to read Dean Koontz in the 80-90s. I stopped reading his books, because they started to sound disconnected and cliche. Since it's been 20 years when I saw Devoted and read the description I decided to try reading this book. I regretted doing so 1/3 of the way in. Too many holes in the plot and the ending was completely predictable. Don't waste your time with it.
This was so great!! Such a surprise.
I listened to most of it via audiobook (which is fantastic, narrated by Edoardo Ballerini). I never imagined I would even pick up a story about a dog that communicates with other dogs and humans, but I ended up liking it so much. I love the short, suspenseful chapters and the characters. The villains were evil!! I‘ve read this is slightly similar to Watchers by the same author but I haven‘t read that one yet.
Really enjoying this one!! I‘m nearly halfway through and the suspense is really kicking up. The characters are so interesting, including Kipp the dog!! And the bad guy is so evil!
🎧 Edoardo Ballerini is narrating the audiobook. He is a favorite of mine!!
I‘m new to Dean Koontz full length stories/series. Which of his are your favorites, Litsy? Please help me decide where to start after I finish this one.
It was a fantastic ride after a years-long break since my last Koontz's book. Great characters, a devilish villain and dogs, God love the dogs 🐶❤️!
A genetically enhanced pack of dogs who can communicate on a telepathic network sets out to save the world from an out of control evil mastermind with the help of an autistic boy, the only human in the world who can interact directly with the canine network. Devoted by Dean Koontz is an action-packed thriller dog lovers will enjoy, I certainly did!
Sometimes it‘s tough to know if people are #friendsorfoes, especially when there are big #changes (physical, mental, spiritual) happening with protagonists as well as antagonists

What a beautiful day for a solitary walk with my book! The sun was SO warm! The sky was SO blue! This book is SO good! 😊📚💕 Today is the first day in a while where I feel like things are going to be okay! 💗 #keeplitsypositive
Dean Koontz's books are always automatic purchases for me, and have been ever since I started reading his works the summer after finishing 8th grade and he became one of my favorite authors. Some of his books are better than others, but I always feel the same blissed out wave of emotions every time I crack open the pages of his newest book. 📚💕
