I can't be the only one who thinks that Tricia's preoccupation with calories and food does NOT FEEL HEALTHY AT ALL, can I? Every time she mentions it (which is at least twenty times in the first 100 pages), it jolts me right out of the story. It honestly feels like her "health-conscious" approach towards food is more like being on the brink of an eating disorder. ?
This is another series that I really enjoyed at the beginning, but which has faltered for me - on multiple levels - as it's gone on. But I keep coming back -- mostly for Mr. Everett, who is absolutely my favorite character.
Parents do NOT babysit their own children. It's called parenting.
