5th (& maybe final) book in the Berry Basket Mysteries, a series I started this summer for #SeasonalCozies. I forgot to add it to my December TBR but I‘m glad I remembered & read it. In this one, Marlee Jacob is a last-minute addition to the cast of A Christmas Carol (in her namesake role) to the community theatre‘s annual production after the wealthy old man who has been playing Jacob Marley suddenly dies. Was it ⬇️

Not quite the same view as I had in my last overnight to Hilo but the hotel has a lanai & Mauna Kea is still pink & lovely at sunrise & well worth getting up for. 🌅

A little reading of the tagged book (an addition to my #SeasonalCozies as I forgot it in my #TBR) & some coffee/hot cocoa mix—hotel lobby mocha before my board meeting. I present first this morning & then most of the pressure is off. 😅

This was quite fun. Even though most of the characters were unlikeable, I enjoyed the way that elements of A Christmas Carol made it into the story. Overall not bad though not sure it‘s a complete favorite. Giving it a low pick. #merryreaders #wintergames2020 @Clwojick
