This is my 3rd book by this author and my least favorite. The main character, Tabitha, is just way too naive for her own good. As the book progressed, the more I got frustrated with her. Ending was predictable and way too rushed. It was so-so... leaning towards pan

Bec_lectic This was on my TBR list but maybe I‘ll hold off for a bit lol 3y

⭐️⭐️ I didn‘t like this one. I didn‘t think any of it made sense. The motives did not work for me. I read some other reviews that said they are tired of these domestic thrillers and I would have to agree. It was a weak one for me.

Overall I enjoyed The Wife Who Knew Too Much. The characters were well thought out for the most part, and the story, though predictable in places, had fun twists and turns that I wasn't expecting. I would recommend this to fans of Megan Miranda.

Picked this book up several days ago and couldn‘t put it down until I finished it. For a summer read, you won‘t be disappointed. A rich beautiful heiress dies the morning after her annual July 4th party and it gets complicated from there with love, scorned exes and millions at stake to her fortune. A “whodunnit” novel and with the author weaving back and forth narrating from different character accounts make it all the more interesting 🤔

Mostly a Pick...I love Dylan Moore's narration, her voice is so effortless to listen too. She easily made this story and its characters more appealing. Seriously though, the MC, Tabitha is really quite gullible, and Connor is a douche. Even the clues in this drama-fest are dropped like bombs that anyone can pick up on them, well except Tabby, of course. Kudos to whoever picked the narrator, because she is this story's saving grace.

Ugh... ⭐️ ⭐️ I‘m sooo over books that are trying too hard to be Gone Girl. Gone Girl is GONE. Protagonists that act in stupid ways... definitely not for me. Full review at Scrappymags.com

FULL REVIEW 7/24.

Money and power seemed to be the only thing that mattered to Connor Ford.

He took what he wanted with his charm and wealth, and broke Tabitha's heart many years ago.

Connor is now married to wealthy Nina, but cheats with Tabitha.

Where can this lead? It leads to deceit, murder, lies, and another fantastic Michele Campbell book.

Make this book a must on your summer reading list. 5/5

I just reviewed this on Goodreads and compared it to a made for Lifetime movie. That‘s perhaps not fair as I don‘t know if I‘ve ever watched a Lifetime movie. I think my comparison of this book to a Twinkie is more apt - you know it‘s not good and there‘s nothing of substance in it, but you still enjoy it. It kept me reading and kept me entertained and sometimes that is enough. Meanwhile #Klaus continues to be the strangest cat I‘ve ever known 😂

Lost love, reconnections, betrayal and murder make for good read. Nina is richer than rich and married to Connor. Tabitha is Connor‘s teenage love. Nina takes her own life and Tabitha and Connor can finally be together. We get different POVs including opening up with Nina‘s diary which sucks you in right away. An engaging read that kept me hooked throughout.
Thanks to #netgalley and St. Martin‘s Press for the arc.
