I dive into RPE books expecting them to have been published 10-20 years back, but a bookstore is significant to this story where many a recent book (most of which I‘ve read!) was referenced. Published in 2020 - he‘s still writing these - let my thrifted collection continue! I liked this book and how the MC, Noel, took a hard look at her life. ↓
I worked until almost 3 today so trying to chill and get caught up with yesterday‘s posts. #12coloursofdecember Dec 23 Mistletoe (mix of green and red) 20 points plus 1 #wintergames #merryreaders @Clwojick
Wow! @Charlene1321 you really outdid yourself! Thank you for my festive book and all the chocolate! Thanks for hosting the #Jolabokaflodswap again this year. @MaleficentBookDragon

This is definitely a Hallmark movie kind of book. The MC, Noel, gets a request from her estranged father who is dying to come home. By the time she arrives he has already passed. She finds out that he has left everything to her including his beloved bookstore. Thus she embarks on a journey of self discover and hopefully healing. A little sappy for my tastes yet it is still a good story. 3.5⭐
4⭐️ One of the few authors that I will read year in and year out without fail. The book was a bit predictable, but the story was good and cozy as usual. #2020 #bookstagram #bookreview #christmasstories #thenoelletters #fiction #contemporaryfiction #wintergames2020 #readnosedreindeer

Though the romances have gotten a bit cheesy the last few years, Richard Paul Evans is still a go to feel good Christmas author for me and I think always will be. This was a bit more realistic than the last few which was appreciated.
