What would I do without #AudioBooks - And just to think I am only a couple of years into audio now. I used not to be able to focus on them and get lost easily!
#AudioCommute #AudioChores
#AudioReSet - has helped me a lot before and after a big chunk of work -- Gonna do that later today :)
I didn't guess the twist ---- so that's great!!! I enjoy listening to a twisty audible with different narrators, but Oliva's voice was super annoying to me!
Anyway, I enjoyed this one.
#AudioReSet :) 🦞 being silly!
Post Vacation Monday #AudioReSet :)
Heard good things about this one and it was “free“ with audible so - there you go
To Do:
💛 Reset my weekend bag - put all the toiletries where they belong
💛 Do laundry - wet bathsuit needs to be washed. Also forgot my dirty clothes bag, so my clean clothes that weren't worn will have to be washed too - enough for a full load
💛 Clean/Organize the backpack - it was extra self-care supplies
3/15/25 read in a week! Enjoyed this like all her others!

Finished in a day… as always, Freida 🤌🏽
Another great thriller from McFadden that I read in a day! I really do love her books. If you‘ve liked her previous books you will like this one too!! This would make a great movie or mini series. I‘m eager to read the remaining McFadden‘s on my shelf!
I‘m still hooked on Freida McFadden‘s books. I chose to give the Housemaid series a pause and read The Perfect Son. It was another great one! Freida delivers that unexpected twist I‘ve come to rely on. The twist in this book literally stopped me in my tracks.

I saw the end coming with this 🤣 I think I've read that much Freida McFadden books that I actually have her mindset going in now.
Still an enjoyable read which is perfectly paced. I always find FM's epilogues are wild. Just when you think everything is sorted.....BAM... epilogue... all goes west 🤣
McFadden does not disappoint again. Erika has the perfect son but she knows something is not so perfect with him. When a local girl goes missing that has ties to her son, Erika is beyond worried that he had something to do with it. Is her son truly evil or is there more to the story than what Erika expected?

'The Perfect Son' was a good read. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't as much character development as usual. I figured out the mystery a chapter before the reveal.

It is undeniably Liam‘s fault. …Right?
I picked this up from Edward McKays used book store in Winston-Salem. Finished it in a weekend, absolutely couldn‘t put it down. Freida is great at psychological thrillers, but nothing too crazy where you feel like a nut after reading them! Love her writing!
That was intense- we never really know someone do we! When a girl goes missing her new young crush is assumed to be responsible, but did Liam really do it. I could not put this down and I did not see the end. I had a completely different thought. Thanks Freida!
Twisty and fun, with short chapters to keep the pace moving fast. I was completely shocked by the big twist at the end! I knew it was coming and I was still shocked.
4 Stars • Oh, Freida, you‘ve done it again -- a perfect unexpected twist! "The Perfect Son" by Freida McFadden is a gripping psychological thriller that follows the story of Erika Cass, a mother of two children, Hannah and Liam. Liam, the 16-year-old son, is suspected of being involved in the disappearance of a classmate, Olivia Mercer. ⬇️
We‘ll team, it‘s Freida McFadden so you know you‘re getting a popcorn thriller with many twists. I‘d only read the Housemaid books before this and I was worried I wouldn‘t love the rest of her books, but this was great. An excellent, fast-paced mystery that made me want to sacrifice sleep to finish it. A good balance of twists and clues, this is the kind of easy reading I love and need right now.
I‘m pumped to say that between last night and this morning - 2 workouts, cooking dinner, and meal prepping - that I‘ve gotten through the most percentage of an audiobook than I ever have before! Am I finally going to be able to do it?! Or is it just because it‘s a Freida McFadden book?!
Erika Cass has a perfect family and a perfect life until two detectives show up at her door. A high school girl has vanished from their neighborhood. The police suspect it‘s murder. Erika's teenage son was the last person to see the girl alive. Erika has always sensed something dark and disturbed in her seemingly perfect older child. She wants to believe he's innocent, but as the evidence mounts, she believes Liam may have done the unthinkable.

Super fast-paced thrillingly good read! Loved it😱
Freida McFadden has not disappointed me yet and is always a go to for a good intense suspense. #53of2023
I don't think I've read any book by Freida McFadden that I didn't enjoy. I did not see the ending turning out that way. Took me completely by surprise! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Erika's son, Liam, is different.
Like, scary different.
When a teenage girl who Liam had expressed interest in goes missing, Erika can't help but wonder...
This one is a page-turner!
I didn't figure out the twist but, hey, I'm new to the genre 😄
Weird twist I did not see coming. The ending felt rushed compared to the dragging up to the climax
.. Ive read better, Ive read worse
Spending some time on the porch today… almost finished with this one. Still waiting for the twist because I know it‘s coming! William has had a rough couple of days and I‘m letting him rest 😴
#LitsyLove
Starting this one today while William is doing his PT! What a creepy cover 🖤🖤🖤
Happy Friday everyone!!!
I could not put this book down. Every time I picked it up,
I couldn‘t stop. This had some vibes of We Need to Talk About Kevin, but not as dark and the ending was no where near what I expected. I loved this one. One of Frieda‘s best, in my opinion.
Freida McFadden does it again! This one definitely took a turn towards the end that I was not expecting.
This book was a pleasant surprise for me. At about page 40 I thought that I had figured out the plot, but boy was I wrong! A quick read for a chilly afternoon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
