pickI liked this book. It was an easy read but I wished for something impaction to happen. It's a mix between a coming of age, romance, and suspense novel. It kept my attention and I enjoyed reading it but it just wasn't that interesting. I'll give it a pick because I was engaged throughout but probably only a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
pickIt‘s mostly about romance - but the dark and sinister undertones of the story can be felt throughout and really hooked me. The complexities of relationships and love play out in a natural and honest way. I think many will relate to some part of this story. The villain and hero of this story can be any one of the characters; it only depends on which side of the penny you‘re looking at.
so-soYou can‘t look away because this book is stunningly bad! There is really no suspense in the story of Molly, an aspiring writer and Jake, a rocker on the rise. Throw in Sabrina who is obsessed with both and you have a tell not show book. Too much floppy hair and tears running down cheeks and same being wiped away and so much booze. Do yourself a favor and look away immediately. I almost gave it a pan. It was close. Even my car Cassie was bored.
so-soCan‘t Look Away started with such promise–it had a mystery and suspense to it and I couldn‘t wait to see how things would turn out–but it was ultimately anticlimactic to me. I was left wanting more at the end. The audiobook was a bit of a bust. The voices used by the narrators for the dialogue of others (the women voicing the men and the man voicing the women) I found to be rather unenjoyable, so much so that I read much more than I listened.

If you go into this knowing it‘s more of a drama than a thriller…you might not be disappointed. You could even go so far as to call this a romance, of sorts. That really seems to be this author‘s thing…a romance-ish drama kind of thing.
While I was fully aware of what this wasn‘t, I was still let down by the ending…it sort of just fizzled out for me, it could have a little more of...idk...something.
pickI enjoyed Lovering‘s last novel, so I was excited to check out her latest! Molly lives in an affluent Connecticut suburb with her husband & daughter. Desperate to increase her family size, she forges what feels like her first genuine connection with an acquaintance at her doctor‘s office. But Sabrina seems to know too much about Molly… with multiple narrators and a past/present timeline, this compelling read had me turning pages late in the night!
pickA whole bunch of craziness! Imagine being so obsessed with your ex, that you will do anything (real crazy stuff) to get them back.
'Can't Look Away' involves a romance, a love triangle, a square and then back to romance. Plus, a whole lot of a craziness, I mean CRAZINESS!!!
'Can't Look Away' publishes on June 14, 2022. I think you will enjoy it.

pickThis author does a great job of creating creepy obsessive stalkery female characters. In this one, a woman becomes obsessed with her ex's girlfriend and later ex girlfriend. So creepy. You hear from the stalker and the stalkee.
