Another great listen as I did cross-stitch with this book. I love the MC in this series. A little twist right up to the end. Found a bingo spot in #ISpyBingoMay. Now I lost August#IspyBingo. If someone knows how to send me a copy, I would appreciate it. #ReadAway2024 #SeriesLove24 @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks @Andrew65 @TheSpineView @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES
Well, finished the Rockton series and boy, did that end with a bang!
I think this may have been one of the better ones in terms of murder mystery. Amidst the mayhem of dismantling things, Casey has to figure out a murder and an attempted murder. She and Eric are also faced with the question of “what for?“.
I'm excited to start the next series but it seems I'll have a bit of wait if I want to do it via audio.

It‘s hard to believe that this 7th installment of the Rockton series is also its last! I‘ve been a huge fan of Armstrong‘s for over a decade, & I‘ve always enjoyed this mystery series set in the Yukon. It provides a mixture of human monsters, relationships & the wildlife and wilderness to add to the excitement! Here, the shadowy council follows up on what they have been expecting while crimes and secrets are exposed in this fast paced conclusion!
Another book finished for #FabuloudFebruary Readathon. I have read 4 books and my goal was 3. I figure I will reach 5 maybe 6..This is the best I have done.
This series just keeps getting better and better to me. She had me rolling in the floor when Casey and Duncan were after a suspect. Let's just say he isn't the smartest. 5⭐ for me 😊

While I liked this latest Rockton mystery, especially the fact that it focused more on the town itself than the immediately prior books, I feel there was too much vagueness in how the mystery portion ended. There‘s also big changes happening in Rockton, foreshadowed in book 6, that show up here and make me suspect this is the end of the series. I hope not, but I‘ve really enjoyed all the books, so I hope lots of people read them.
Had to stay up last night & finish the 7th Rockton book as my library copy if due back today. It‘s a fairly quick read though & I‘m always ready to spend time in this off-the-grid town with Casey & Dalton. I thought the mystery was somewhat light & easy to guess. It really serves as a transition into a different Rockton & it will be interesting to see where Armstrong goes with it.. Hopefully she continues & the year wait to the next book begins.
I think I bit off more than I can chew with my March #TBR. I am already behind in most of my #buddyread commitments on the left for #OurViolentEndsBuddyRead & the 3 #PemberLittens picks & I‘m starting The Luck of the Titanic for #SundayBuddyRead discussion tomorrow. The Red Sparrow for my virtual foodie book club & on the right side are new books I want to read, a #NetGalley #ARC & the bottom 2 are for the #WomanChangeMakersReadingChallenge ⬇️
Just found out a new Rockton novel is out. I love this series!
Another great story from Kelley Armstrong, but it leaves a lot more questions than it answered. Is this the conclusion of the Rockton novels? Will we hear about Casey and Eric in the future? What is their future? Only Armstrong knows. #13-2022
