Good, not my favorite, but still good. I love Sabé, I could use a spin-off series all based on her adventures and journey. And Padmé‘s trip on a Wookie ship was quite enjoyable. But for Padmé herself, I think it gets harder to read as we get closer to the eventual end of her storyline…like a horror movie where you want to yell at them to get out now, but they won‘t listen….you should feel happy for her, but instead you feel sad dread.
??? YA novel following Padmé on her venture into marriage with Anakin and beyond to the events of SW EP:3. Easy to read for younglings and not too difficult of a plot to follow. Decent read.

I am so happy I finally have time to read for fun again. Although much of my reading right now is for work (job change, working on some certifications, and reading books on how to grow clientele in the fitness space) I have much more time for myself.
Read this for #StarWarsBuddyRead. I enjoyed it even though I had not read the others in the trilogy. It added to some back story during clone wars. @BookwormAHN
This is the 3rd in the Padme trilogy and here is where she marries Anakin. Also Sabe comes back to switch places with Padme while she goes on a secret mission.

I admit I've been spoilt by the last few books we read at #starwarsbuddyread so I might have had a little high expectations. It wasn't a bad one, but not as deep and moving as the other ones I've read lately. The story does add to the Star Wars universe and features some good characters, but all in all the story missed to draw me in.

from @BookwormAHN : What did everyone think of Brotherhood? I enjoyed it, mostly I loved reconnecting with Anakin & Obi-Wan.
New Year, new book & for January we have Queen's Hope. Where we continue with the adventures of Padme & Sabe.
If anyone wants to be added or removed just let me know. And May the Force Be With You, Always ✨️

This look into Padme Amidala's life takes place after Queen's Peril and Queen's Shadow during the beginning of the Clone War and Padme's marriage to Anakin. Padme has fewer handmaid know that her job as senator has become more straight forward, but I loved that she did one last swap with Sabe, and I appreciated the look into Sabe and Sashe's lives at this time, and the foreshadowing for what Palpatine's plans for the future are.
