I finished this just now. I love this series. John Connelly knows how to write a thriller. It's the last of the Charlie Parker series. #SeriesLove23 it was a long book 535 pages. The Sisters Strange first appeared in a serial format during the pandemic- providing escape & comfort into a classic Charlie case involving ancient coins & modern thieves. Continuing to display his soft spot for female clients, the titular story delves more into the supernatural!

Reading this series is like sitting down with an old friend for me. Although the friend is slightly disturbed and haunted by the daughter he lost, but I can't help it, I love Charlie Parker, Louis, and Angel.
The Furies takes us into the dark side of coin collecting, but of course that leads into another mystery for Parker to solve. Connolly even talks about the pandemic some in this one.
Another solid addition to the series.

1. I pick the book that's due next at the library, unless there's a new King novel.
2. Most books are a 3 or 3.5 read for me. 5 stars are usually ones that make me emotional or nostalgic, 4 are ones I liked and recommend, and 2 is for ones that are forgettable or have writing problems.
