Agathe von Trapp was born in Austria in 1913, the oldest daughter of Baron Georg von Trapp and his first wife, Agathe. A member of the original Trapp Family Singers, Agathe traveled with the group on their worldwide concert tours in thirty countries. She has recorded on RCA Victor and Decca records as well as participated in the operation of the Trapp Family Lodge and her family's summer music camp in Stowe, Vermont. A gifted artist, Agathe's work has been exhibited in Europe and America.
