pickI loved the show, which inspired to buy the books. I canNOT believe how different they are. I was mad at the first book for a while but I've since moved on and I am loving the differences now. Dearly devoted Dexter has to help track down a serial killer that has advanced military training. Its an intense ride and the victim descriptions are a little hard to swallow but such a good storyline. 4/5 ⭐

Although the ending of the first book formed some questions in me that didn't get any answers in this one...

I‘ve seen the first few seasons of the television show and I really enjoyed them! When I realized the show was based on a book series I stopped watching and got the book! 100% happy with the decision and I‘m now planning on getting my hands on the next book in the series “Dearly Devoted Dexter”
I used a pair of tin snips and cut off the first two fingers of his left hand. He thrashed and screamed and the blood came, which always makes me angry, so I shoved a tennis ball into his mouth and cut off the first two fingers of his right hand.

Current #audiobook . I normally think authors should not narrate their own books and just leave it to the pros, but Jeff Lindsay does better than most. I like his Dark Passenger voice...deep and dark💀
