tpixie Starbucks has a new cranberry drink. I think the spices are a little heavy on cinnamon, but it was a fun change from a strawberry refresher. Frozen cranberries in plain Greek yogurt is really good. ❤️❤️❤️ 6d

mabell @tpixie Oh I may have to try that! I rarely get the cold drinks (I‘m a big mocha fan!), but that one sounds fun for the season! And I never would have thought of frozen cranberries with yogurt! 4d

mabell @Daisey I‘ve printed the bread recipe! I just have to pick up a couple of ingredients & I‘m definitely making that this week! The simpler method sounds like a fun, tasty experiment! If I were more comfortable canning, I‘d do it. Once I‘ve done some canning, I‘ll try the drink too! I wonder how it would be with some spices added with the sugar. You‘ll have to report back on how this is too! (I don‘t remember if you mentioned you had made it before) 3d

Daisey @tpixie @mabell I hope you both enjoy the bread! As for the juice, I‘ve read about people making fruit blends and spiced versions (although you need to be careful to keep acid content because of water bathing), but I‘ve only made plain cranberry myself. 3d

The story of a cancer survivor who decides to commemorate this by walking from Washington DC to New York City and write about the people he met and the places he saw. The book was published in 2023. the authors cancer relapsed and he died this year.

AnnCrystal While I was helping my mom haul out the extra decorations for our American celebrations (we begin right around Armed Forces day and keep them up until around 4th of July).

My mom raised my brother and I with a high respect for our Americana. Her words are more, “out of all the cultures mixed into your blood, you are Native (Indigenous) and American first and foremost. You disrespect our Land or our Flag, you disrespect yourself.“👇

AnnCrystal Well, we were talking while decorating, about how Gotham City has seemingly swept across our America and how our Peace Officers are in a type of war.

This made me curious. Does America even celebrate our Peace Officers? I know, terrible of me not to already know the answer to this question. 👇

AnnCrystal Research told me there is a Day in January (the 9th) and a Memorial Day (May 15) that then leads into a Week of honor. And Firefighters Day is May 4th.

Since we're in the month of May, I decided to include Peace Officers and all Emergency Personnel in this post here.

Not sure where I heard about this one - I thought it was on here, but don't see any posts about it 🤷‍♀️. Anyway, it's a good lunch/break choice. Relatively entertaining, easy to dip and out of, not so compelling that I have to tote it around to keep reading.

There's a little bit of Coastal-Media-Type-Road-Trips-to-Find-the-Real-America 🙄, but not the worst offender I've ever come across. And it's balanced with lots of pie recipes!

#ItTakesAllKinds #Roadtrip I think it said that they took these signs down in 1963 ,but at its height ,there were 7000 sets in 43 states. Fun car game to look for these on your travels back in the day.Found this little gem ,at the big book sale I went to a few weeks ago . Published in 1965. So six signs spread out a ways , you get a poem!
