Oooh, after a slow start, I couldn't get enough of this.
I've been down a long rabbit hole on secret religious texts and Venice churches... Excellent read.
This is a great book. SFF and YA paranormal romance isn't usually my thing, but this is beautifully well written and the protagonist, Karou, is a really engaging character.
75/100 I'm not a devoted Holmesian, but I thought this was a delightfully supernatural take on the Holmes & Watson stories. I liked Dr Doyle, a more intelligent and far less bumbling version of Watson, and I have to admit their secret caught me totally by surprise. Crow, the stand for Holmes, was witty and innocent, not nearly as caustic as Holmes could be at times. I hope the author plans a sequel, since the ending ⬇️
Standalone novella about an angel and demon. The demon created a world and the angels came and destroyed it. The demon curses the angel and they weirdly have to work together and through it.
Celeste & Mariel, daughters of the Fallen, are just trying to survive. & then Muriel is accused of murdering an Elite, & Celeste will see just how far she‘ll go to save her sister.
An intense read for such a small novella! We get a devastating story of sisters, the fall that comes after putting someone on a pedestal, & a wild weird Western world I immediately wanted more of! I wish was longer, the characters didn‘t nearly get the depth.🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
I loved every single one of these on this month‘s coffee flight!!
Hey Littens. Time has gotten away from me. Can't believe its about the middle of July already and my baby boy is going to be 8 in 5 days. So how is everyone doing??? Any good books being read? I'm currently listening to Storm And Fury by Jen L. Armentrout. I'm enjoying it so far. Hope u are all having a good summer.
