I got through a few chapters of Say Nothing but realised I needed a break from NF, so picked this up from my #StartedTBR pile & finished it in 5hrs. #Bk1 and almost #Hour1 is finished for the #24in48 #readathon This has got to be one of my favourite GN series, I‘ve always been fascinated by steampunk, add in a half mechanical female adventurer/Assassin and you have the perfect basis for a story. Former workmates Of Lady Mechanika‘s friend, Mr Lewis, are being murdered. When she is accused of being the killer herself, tracking down the real culprit is her only option to avoid arrest.

What a gorgeous little book! I started taking photos of text I loved, it was so evocative. Even though the flora & fauna in the UK is so different than Australia‘s, the feeling of looking up at the stars with no city lights, & a dawn breaking with the sound of birdsong & mist is exactly the same.
