For a while now I‘ve been wanting a physical representation of the books I read throughout the year. I mostly do ebooks and audiobooks so I don‘t have shelf trophies. I can‘t crochet or knit to make book blankets (I want to so bad) so I‘m toying with the idea of mini books. I don‘t want them too mini so it been a struggle to find a template but I finally found a size I like. Here are some practice ones. I‘m still working out some kinks but (cont)

ShananigansReads I‘m learning more and more and having fun. Now let‘s hope I can keep the passion through 2026 😬 2w

Saw this on Facebook to make mini books. The crafters precut foam tape is at DollarTree, according to the post.

I‘ve been wanting to make mini books and then place them in a clear tree ornament.

I‘ve had my book back for a while, but I realized I hadn‘t yet shared this collage of our #CoverToCover postal book club reads. Now, we‘re ready to start another round!

tpixie Yay! Thanks! I love to take a screenshot of these photos!!! I can‘t wait to start the next round. I‘m mailing my book tomorrow! 1y
Daisey @tpixie I need to prep my book and hope to send it out at the beginning of next week. So excited to start another round! 1y
tpixie @Daisey yes!! Me too- it‘s a great opportunity for me to read books and get exposed to authors I never would‘ve otherwise. 1y

Making and Keeping Creative Journals | Suzanne J.E. Tourtillott
post image
Mehso-so

3/5⭐ The designs are nice with thorough coverage of many journal-making techniques. The layout of the book is technical and heavy on text, sometimes bloated. I would have liked more photos of the finished projects. Some of the fonts are very small and/or almost illegible, making things difficult to read.

slategreyskies I think that, with a book of this nature that is supposed to be both informative and inspirational, it would be tough to do the subject justice without a lot of photos. I mean it‘s a book on a visual creative form. How could they skimp on the pics? Hope the next one is better! 📚💕 2y

Thanks for the tag @IndoorDame #wonderouswednesday
1. It completely depends on the book for me. But sometimes I really appreciate a good epilogue.
2. I love pictures. I wish there were more. And I love maps. And I love interactive features.
3. I think my recliners- both indoor and my outdoor chairs that recline, or a comfy rocking chair.

Who else wants to play?

IndoorDame Outdoor recliner sounds like heaven 💗 3y

It‘s a good morning for snuggling with the pets, sipping a cup of coffee, and reading. I‘m finally making some time to truly get into this book that I can‘t mention by title since it‘s for our #CoverToCover postal book club and thoroughly enjoying it.
