Calling all Littens!! I tagged a bunch of you all, but I am looking for everyone‘s help!!! It‘s a real #BookMergency!! I didn‘t anticipate reading my whole October TBR and now I need some help picking my bonus book- which of these should be my Halloween read???? 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 #TeamStoker

sprainedbrain I‘m reading Imaginary Friend right now, and it‘s very Halloween appropriate! I can‘t wait to read the SK, though, so maybe I choose that one. 🎃 5y
BeansPage I have read both Howloween and Will Haunt You and neither one of them really blew my skirt up. I vote 5y
AsYouWish I vote for either The Institution or Imaginary Friend, I haven‘t read either one, but they both caught my attention. 5y

TorieStorieS @sprainedbrain Thanks!!! I‘m definitely getting to all of these...someday!! We will have to compare notes on both!! 5y
sprainedbrain @TorieStorieS I don‘t think you could go wrong with these choices. I‘m hoping to finish Imaginary Friend by tomorrow night, but it‘s such a long book! 5y
TorieStorieS @TheReadingMermaid 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I‘m sorry your skirt stayed unruffled for both of those... last year I read the Hocus Pocus book for Halloween and it was also a disappointment! 🤷‍♀️ 5y
TorieStorieS @AsYouWish No rules I‘m voting for more than one!! 🤣 both of them are getting a tally mark! 🎃🎃🎃 5y
Cinfhen I feel like SK will not disappoint!! Happy Halloween 👻 5y
TorieStorieS @Cinfhen He never does!! I‘m also listening to 5y
Cinfhen I never heard of that one!! Who does the narration?? 5y
TorieStorieS @Cinfhen I think it must be a novella (under 6 hours long) and read by Craig Wasson. I started it while getting ready this morning but it‘s interesting so far! 5y
tessavi I loved The Institute and want to read Imaginary Friend. I don't know the other ones. 5y
Cinfhen I like short audios!! 5y
TorieStorieS @tessavi Thanks!! Those seem to be the front runners!! 5y
TorieStorieS @Cinfhen I do too- though SK is the King of long audiobooks, too! I listened to the 45+ hours of IT a few Halloween‘s ago and it is still one of my favorite of all audiobooks!!🎈 5y
NeedsMoreBooks I suck at horror. But I heard good things about Imaginary Friends 5y
Lovesbooks87 The Haunted was good and it wasn‘t a thick book! 5y
k.reads.5 My vote is for Imaginary Friend even though I haven't read it yet or the others, sorry lol! Hope you enjoy whatever you do decide to read! 5y
OriginalCyn620 For Halloween, you can‘t go wrong with Stephen King! 5y
Craftylikefox Oh! I vote the Institute. Although Imaginary Friend would be a close second 5y
Eggs Thanks for tagging me😘😘 I haven‘t read any of these. I have read a lot of Stephen King tho/he‘s a sure bet 5y
Jas16 I haven‘t read any of them but there has been a lot of Litsy love for The Institute. 5y
Sleepswithbooks I‘ve heard great things about “Imaginary Friend.” 5y
JacqMac The Institute and Imaginary Friend are both fantastic. 5y
StellarDoc I haven't read any of these, but The Institute and Imaginary Friend are both on my TBR. 5y
TorieStorieS @Lovesbooks87 Thanks!! I was also thinking the second row all had a better chance of being completed in one day! 🤣 5y
TorieStorieS @k.reads.5 Thanks!! That one is a front runner for sure in this impromptu poll!! I‘m going to read all of them though... eventually! 5y
TorieStorieS @OriginalCyn620 Thanks!!! I am listening to one of his audiobooks now too!! You are definitely right!! 5y
TorieStorieS @Craftylikefox Thanks!!! Those two definitely are getting the most Litsy love!!! 5y
TorieStorieS @Eggs Thanks!! He‘s for sure a Halloween go-to!!! 5y
TorieStorieS @Jas16 Thanks!! I know!! I‘m leaning towards that one... or 5y
TorieStorieS @Stacypatrice Thanks!!! I‘m probably going with that one!! 5y
TorieStorieS @JacqMac Thanks!! I‘m torn between them too!! 5y
TorieStorieS @StellarDoc Thanks!!! I‘m going to go with.... 5y
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @TorieStorieS that one sounds good!!! 5y
TorieStorieS @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I‘m liking it so far!!! 5y

Got this email from my mom, I think I need to create a crash course in YA for this new high school librarian. #litervention #bookmergency

398.2 Yes! Do you know what your going to recommend? 7y
BillBlume #Litervention” might be the most brilliant hashtag I‘ve ever seen on Litsy. 7y
Johanna414 Fun! 7y

BookFreakOut @398.2 There‘s so much, where do I even start??? I‘m most familiar w/SFF and can easily give recs for that. I‘m less certain about contemporary, romance, poetry, but I‘m thinking Jason Reynolds, Nicola Yoon, Angie Thomas, Maurene Goo, Sandhya Menon as a good start for those, other ideas welcome! BookRiot has lots of good curated lists, so I‘ll probably send her there and of course, show her Litsy! 7y
BookFreakOut @BillBlume Haha, thanks! It seemed pretty appropriate. 😆 7y
ElyssaReads Yeah Hannah! 7y
BookFreakOut @ElyssaReads And you KNOW I have to tell her about ToG! 7y
ElyssaReads @BookFreakOut of course! And don‘t forget your Twitter pal Sabaa! 7y
