Ran my errands & settling in to finish up these two books in the month of March. (I've got about 13 hours to midnight here!) What else does this (gray & rainy) Saturday before Easter hold? It includes green juice to counter the effects of a Russell Stover Marshmallow Egg (in honor of my mom who loved them💙) & lavender-hued toes.

I could not put this book down. Rachel Jeffs tells her story as one of the 53 children of Warren Jeffs,the leader of the FLDS cult. The abuse she suffered at the hand of her father was hard to understand and hard to read. She was ostracized, imprisoned, and separated from her children for months on end until she finally got the courage to leave. Shockingly, Warren Jeffs still rules his people from behind bars. #fallatyourfeet #marchintooz

When it comes to this novel I can never make up my mind, the characters are a dizzying whirl of contradictions. The fragile line drawn between love and hate throughout the text becomes part of my response as a reader. No one gets off lightly under Jelinek's shrewd gaze.

It‘s not often that one is lucky enough to have 2 perfectly charming, fun, kind, brilliant, sexy men #fallatyourfeet and profess their undying love for you and force you to choose between them 🙄 BUT if you can suspend your disbelief for just a bit, this fluffy read is actually kind of fun! I can‘t even belief I enjoyed it, but I did... miracles can happen ✨

I think this is probably my fav historical trilogy (this is the middle book). One of my very few re-reads.

#MarchIntoOz #fallatyourfeet In this short novel , the parents separate & then re unite- we hear from them. And also we hear from their 2 children , how the their parents breakup affected them. Short and brilliant ... set in Rome , as far as I remember. ( I think there was talk that this author is married to Elena Ferrante IRL in real life 😉- 🤷🏻‍♀️

Formed from the ashes of Split Enz, the combination of Neil Finns songwriting & singing, Paul Hester on drums & Nick Seymour on guitar made magic happen, every song is gorgeous listening.I‘m not a huge fan of romances,Jane Austen is one of the few I have on my shelves. If I was gonna fall at the feet of any literary male, Mr Darcy would be my first choice.
