Pickpick

It‘s been a long time since I‘ve done a #FictionNonfictionPairing.

Just finished People of Abandoned Character, and it felt appropriate for spooky season. Susannah is newly married, but the happy honeymoon period lasts mere weeks. Her husband starts staying out all night and returning home in the morning soaked in blood and scratched up. It happens more than once, and Susannah starts to suspect Thomas is hiding something sinister. ⬇️

Soubhiville I haven‘t read much about Jack the Ripper, maybe only one or two books in the past. So having this one and The Five leads to a natural pairing! Started The Five yesterday and it‘s great so far! 2y
LeahBergen I enjoyed both of these! 👍 2y
Librariana I love learning that a hashtag exists for something I *attempt* to do in my own reading life 😁 I also saw your Bookspin list, @Soubhiville and was reminded about Non-fiction November! So thank you for that as well! If my memory serves me right, I think I might have 3 or so NF picks for the month. 2y
Megabooks The Five was really sad. 2y

Hons and Rebels (Revised) | Jessica Mitford

This is quite an obvious #FictionNonfictionPairing to make, but I am very intrigued to read Hons and Rebels and find out the truth behind Nancy Mitford's novels! #seasonsreadings2016

Dragon Such good books. I'm fascinated by the Mitford family 😀 8y

For my #FictionNonfictionPairing, I'm going with a fictional novel about a group of teenage missionaries being caught in the middle of a nation at war (My Hands Came Away Red), and the true story of a young girl forced into hiding during the Rwanda genocide (Left to Tell). #SeasonsReadings16

Nebklvr Left to Tell was excellent 8y

Day 9 of #SeasonsReadings: #FictionNonfictionPairing
I'm Armenian and I collect books related to Armenia, especially stuff about the genocide and before that happened because the history, culture and world of my ancestors is hard to piece together have they had to flee from the massacres and death marches. These are some of the first books (nonfiction left, fiction right) I read on the topic.

@RealLifeReading

beccaeve @BookNerdBritt I haven't, but my aunt recently told me I must! 8y
BookNerdBritt It's really good! 8y

#SeasonsReadings2016 #FictionNonfictionPairing @RealLifeReading so a day late but here's my thought: actual biology textbook and sci-fi about a world where humans can custom make and remake their personal biology at will. Love Biting the Sun!!!

elkeOriginal I need to #reread Biting - it's on my shelf but I can't remember a thing about it! 8y
Librarianaut @elkeo I think you will find it wonderful!! 8y

Okay, so I'm late on the #fictionnonfictionpairing but it was really hard to decide between these two beauties pairing Reimagining Equality with A Raisin in the Sun. In the end. On Writing is one of the few books I'vs gone back and reread and gives me hope that I may write one day. #seasonsreadings2016 @RealLifeReading
