Not my first LITRPG but a series definitely worth picking up. I am using audible for my hour work commute but the story has had me wanting to listen to it almost any chance I can.

When the local community center becomes in jeopardy of closing an eccentric cast of characters come together to help each other and to help save the place that is so vital to them and their neighborhood. Funny and light but this book still managed to rig on my heart strings. Clare Pooley is very adept at hitting that sweet spot.
Such a cute book. My son picked this out to have me read to him today. Sweet Penelope wants so much to be a librarian. She just has one little BIG problem. A good book to show children (and adults, hopefully) that sometimes we need to get creative to make our dreams and talents match.

In further bookish goodness, my husband got us all books from a Japanese book shop while traveling for work. Mine is a Murakami that - I think - was never translated to English. I‘m not sure. I‘ve tried to figure it out. 😅🤣 So interesting, though! Holden got the first Wimpy Kid (his fave series) and Vaughn got Bluelock Vol One (one of his fave series). Also added a new member to my beautiful Kokeshi Doll collection!
A silly, fun moment right when I needed it. The illustrations make me think of Shel Silverstein, but the poetry, the overall tone feels...gentler, less chaotic.
