While I dislike insta-love, there wasn‘t a fated mates plot at least. Also, I wish there was more on the Mistlefoe game! And the book just…ended. I want more! At least this explains where Alexis came from.

While fun yes, the dubcon in this one was a biiiiit too dubious. Lemming tried to make it not creepy but still. Also, didn‘t expect my introduction to the omegaverse to be this book 😅🥲

This was SO pretty. At times sweet, funny or heartwrenching.
After being burned by the gods, Angrboda resigns herself to existence alone in the Ironwood until Loki returns her heart. It takes more than the trickster god to bring her from her life of solitude. As her life grows, so does the threat from the gods.
I‘m not knowledgeable on Norse mythology by any stretch, but it was exactly the characterization of Loki that I wanted & expected.

5/5 ⭐️ Team read for #CandyCaneCrushers #wintergames 🍭 I loved it! Christmas market romance with some magic and so many Wisconsin (my home state) references! This really made me miss kringle and wish I had ordered some to be shipped this year. (O & H Danish Bakery is my favorite!)

I have a lot of thoughts about this one. Maybe I‘m just used to a very certain office culture, but her behavior in the office stressed me out. She wore little booty pajama shorts and I think a tank top. Like you‘re still in an office environment even if it‘s a publishing firm in NY. And she would just spend all her bosses money.

Overall, I liked this book just little things bugged me. An office romance.
