I knew the two cases had to be linked somehow - did everyone click on to the evil Mrs.Branson? What a conniving psycho! Poor Zeke. I wonder if he‘ll recover from this. And will Peabody give McNabb a chance in the romance department? I‘m eager to read more.

#InDeathLongReadalong - wow so much happening in this book: Things are🔥up btw Peabody & McNab (everyone saw this coming); Eve has a nightmare about her mother for the first time (sad); a huge explosion results in mass casualties (very sad); and Peabody‘s brother gets into a bind. Okay a major bind - honestly he and Clarissa could be in serious trouble now. Im looking forward to the conclusion of this one. Roberts has certainly upped the stakes!
