repost for @StayCurious:

#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong Hey! We‘re back in June for Book 13. This was the 1st In Death book I ever read-i had no idea it was a series. But I fell for Eve and Roarke & the gang. We‘ll stick to our regular schedule of 5 chapters a week and 7 chapters the last week to finish. We‘ll check in on Sundays. Let me know if you want to be added or removed from my tag list. All are welcome to join!

ShananigansReads Well now I know why I didn‘t see any posts in May. I somehow missed we were taking a break. 🤦🏾‍♀️I look forward to seeing what everyone thinks of this one. 2d

ShananigansReads @StayCurious There's a good chance I saw it but didn't internalize it. I love Eve and Roarke so much, I never want a break. 😅 2d

I read this book 3 yrs ago, I slowly started reading the In Death series since then, I‘m only up to book 13 and I wanted to re-read book 1, how Eve and Roarke met, oh! and how Eve got Galahad, the cat. She gave him that name, “Galahad, her white knight.”

A lean Henry Cavill is who I pictured as Roark and Stana Katic as Eve Dallas *swoon* love these two characters!

I finally took the time to finish this for #InDeathLongReadalong …I‘m a bit behind! But, I think this was another great addition to the series. We see a more vulnerable Eve in some ways as she navigates grief and love. We also see a very strong Eve who speaks of walking with the dead. A bit of a sentimental end. #LitsyAToZ #LetterJ

#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong book 12.5 Ch.6-10 and review: sorry for the late post. I have the world‘s worst cold right now and even reading is a challenge. I enjoyed this whirlwind novella but I found it a bit too speedy for some bits of info that were divulged - like the fact that Roarke‘s father could have known Eve‘s in Dallas. We‘ll have to spend longer on that tidbit I think. ⬇️

StayCurious I enjoyed that this took place off planet - that was a neat futuristic twist and allowed us to see more of Roarke‘s dream world Olympus. The next book is Seduction, which is actually the first In Death book I ever read. We will skip May and read this starting in June to give those of us who need it a bit of a break. Let me know if you want to be added or removed from the main tag list. 1mo
Librarybelle I‘m almost finished with Judgment (life has been a big mess lately). This should give me plenty of time to catch up for Seduction in June! I‘m loving this…thanks for continuing to host this!! 1mo

LiseWorks I could use a break as well. Lol. I enjoyed this off world book as well. 1mo
Ddzmini Agree with that fact about the fathers since ones from Ireland and the other from the states… but it could happen as we don‘t really know that much about Eve‘s parental history 1mo
TheAromaofBooks Yes, I definitely want more info about both the fathers. I thought this one had some good twistiness for how short it was. Thanks for continuing to host this - I am not sure I would have ever gotten around to this series if it wasn't for this group read, and I am really loving them!! 1mo
