#FierceFeb #NeuroticSociety Bridget Jones puts some good fun into neurosis & is a great neurotic leading character so I thought of her first for today's prompt. After all it's Monday (& it definitely was a Monday kind of day!) 😬& I need a little fun. Bridget (& Colin Firth as Mark Darcy in the movie version) 😍never fails to make me smile. I should probably go ahead & do double duty & make her my candidate for tomorrow's #bachelorette prompt.👍😀

Zelma I adore Bridget Jones. I thought the book was fine but not my favorite. However, the move grew on me and I know just love it. 7y

This is a really unique and funny book of Allie Brosh‘s drawings and writings which include lots of emotions one of which is definitely neurosis ! As a pretty neurotic person myself, I can relate. #NeuroticSociety #FierceFeb

ephemeralwaltz @Tamra I read Herland a couple of years ago! It's on serial reader - a group of men discover an organized and striving civilization of ONLY women (crazy, huh?) her creation of a whole new female society is so empowering!

jon ronson was able to shed light on some particularly neurotic individuals and groups in these two books- when i got them out for this it made me want to reread them as his writing is so spot on.

These two friends are both doctors who are 19th century pioneers of mental health treatments for people who aren't coping with reality. They establish a sanctuary for long term treatments.
I have loved every Sebastian Faulks novel I have read including this one.
